About this project Identity design for new knitting shop
Goal
Elaine: Make my mother-in-law proud! And she is as she starts her new business with some bright, beautiful materials to promote the shop.
Starting Point
We received several pages of notes about the business and its services, including a list of desired print pieces (letterhead, business card, flyers, etc.)
Process
First the logo was designed using a very well-behaved type for the name and a playful, loopy style for the description. The ball of wool and knitting needle were added to round out and balance the whole. From there it was all fun and games with colour and shapes.
